Scholarships

The Montgomery County Tea Party PAC (MCTP PAC) offers scholarships to eligible young adults to attend the (Texas Regional) Patriot Academy. The Patriot Academy is an intensive learning experience in which young adults aged 16 to 25 conduct a mock legislative session and acquire skills in media, public speaking, and leadership, as well as knowledge of current issues and the philosophies of our government’s founding. This MCTP PAC Patriot Academy scholarship program is named the Larry Wilson Scholarship in honor of the late Larry Wilson, a founding member of MCTP. Wilson was a lifelong teacher and true patriot who was dedicated to educating future generations about the Constitution and the true history of our country’s founding.
